Add a view with a simple search utility over the current active text editor.

In the result table are displayed all the text lines containing the desired pattern (grep-like).

The easiest way to install this plugin is through the update site:

• SimpleSearch Update Site: http://www.emilmont.net/eclipse/simplesearch

To add an update site in Eclipse:

1. Go to: Help→Software Updates→Find and Install…
2. Select: Search for new features to install→[Next]
3. Click on: [New Remote Site…]
4. Add the SimpleSearch Update Site URL and Name.
5. Select the site to be included in the search, click on [Finish] and follow the install wizard.

The new installed view is under: Search→Simple Search View

Type the desired pattern in the text field and click [Find].

Double-click in any resulted text line to scroll the text editor at the correspondent location.
